Growing up, I have always loved organising, planning and
just basically being the one people would point at and say "She planned it
all and did a good job", even though most of these times I knew in my
heart of hearts that it was a major flop. I just loved the idea of planning and
organising stuff, even if at the end of the day, I don't come through with it.
As I grew up, my love for planning and organising grew stronger towards the events side. I planned a couple of small parties in University, and also though of having my own events management outfit(to the extent of having a name already for it), but the course I studied is a very jealous one, so I just focused on it, graduated, did a post graduate course and served my fatherland.
The passion was still there, but somehow I just felt I should focus on other things, like getting a regular corporate job, until one faithful day, my passion came knocking vigorously at the doors of my heart saying "IT IS TIME"...(lol)

On that day, I went for my cousin's wedding in Shagamu, and I swear, it was the worstest(if there's any English like that) event I had ever attended in my life. They were not organised one bit, the most annoying thing was that they actually had an events planner(and I kept wondering was it because the events planner was in Shagamu, and there was no competition there, unlike in Lagos where the events management business is fast growing). I practically stood up to organise the whole thing myself. Am sure the ushers were just there to collect their pay at the end of the event, because they did nothing.
Before I left, I made sure I gave the event planner all that was running through my mind.
On my way home that day, I just knew it was high time, but of course I knew I had to put it into God's hands first.
